At its first App Excellence Summit in Bengaluru, Google has announced its new 'Made for India initiative'. At the event Google invited Indian app and game developers to share tools and tips with the developers which will help them create quality and locally relevant Android apps.
As part of the Made for India initiative, the search giant will enable Indian developers to apply for a change and have apps designed specifically for the Indian market. The apps designed by the developers will be showcased on the Google Play India store under a special section. The developers can log on g.co/play/madeforindia to apply for the initiative.
