Google will soon make it easier to check the battery levels of any accessory like headphones or speakers that are connected to the device via Bluetooth.
However, these devices will have to be set up to share their battery information beforehand. It is being said that - primarily because of this reason - the feature wouldn't work with too many devices initially.
As of now, there is no information about how long it will take Google to get this feature from Android's open-source development into a polished feature on smartphones.
